KNOWING ABOUT DIABETES

Diabetes is a sickness that has to do with the performance of the body hormone called insulin which help in the synthesizing of various level of sugar taken into the body through foods or drinks. There are so many food which there end product in the body is sugar in form of glucose. Eg. Taking in of carbohydrate or starch. Insulin help the body to absorb the end product of those sugar foods into the body system for body use which results in physical strength.
Therefore, we can say that diabetes is a condition whereby the body is not able to regulate the the level of sugar inform of glucose present in the body, thereby causing excess sugar to be retain in the blood stream. A sugar which is suppose to be converted into a storable form by the liver for body use.
For the body to process the glucose from the blood properly and adequately, there has to be a sufficient body insulin. And this is why a diabetic patient takes insulin injection or tablets regularly since there is little or no sufficient insulin in his or her body.
Note: Not all diabetes require an insulin injection because we have two type of diabetes which are Type 1 and Type 11, and one need to see a specialist doctor to know the best medication which suites him or her.

SOME DIABETES COMPLICATIONS AND SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS

The sickness diabetes comes in different ways and sometimes it is found very easy to manage while in some persons it is found very complicated to manage. Some of these complications are as follows:
1.Diabetes Retinopathy: This is one of the sicknesses associated with diabetes which affect the blood vessel of the retina of the eyes thereby causing a damage in the eyes and it;s vision.
SOLUTION: One will need to see a specialist doctor.
2.Diabetes Accidosis: This is an problem associated with diabetes whereby the body losses so much fluid through excessive urinating, as a result of poor control of sugar in the patient.
SOLUTIONS: First replace the body fluid to sustain the patient, and after that start adequate insulin administration on daily bases.
3.Hypoglycemia:This is a problem in diabetes which is cause by overdosage of insulin in the patient, causing a kind of fainting, shaking in the hand of all over the body.
SOLUTION: First administer sugar or glucose to sustain the patient, and after check the sugar level and see how to reduce the daily dosage.
4.Low immunity: This occur in some patients making healing process in them on wound or sore becoming very difficult. And some times it causes disfiguring of some part of the leg thereby causing a sore on the foot. But this can be controlled with proper nutritional and medical care starting from proper sugar control.
SOLUTION: Accompany the diabetes drug with good vitamin and mineral supplements.
5.Drug Failure: This occur in some patients, a situation wherby the drug do not work anymore for the patient except the use of insulin injection.
SOLUTION: When this occure, the solution is usually the introduction of insulin injection, but one may need to see a specialist first.
6.Blur Vision:This is a situation whereby the patient could not see properly as what he or she sees became almost blurred.
SOLUTION: Lower your sugar level by proper administring of the tablet or insulin. You can accompany it with a good yeast medicine.
7.Costant Weakness: When this occur it is not always that there is high glucose level, for the weakness could result for many factors such as:
SOLUTION:-Check for sugar level
-Check for malaria and typhoid
The weaknesses usually result from this two factors.
8.Sore Foot: When one start to see a sore on his or her feet or foot, as a diabetic patient, there are two things that can cause it.
- Check your sugar level
-Check for fungai infections
SOLUTION: When this occor, if one finds out there is a hyke in the sugar level, he should work hard to lower it to a normal range. And the sore will dry up.
Where it is caused by an infection then one should better use and anti bacteria injection to get it off as early as possible because it can damage the leg if left for a long time.
9. Adverse Resultant Effects After Insulin Injection: Whenever a particlular insulin injection is not working properly. Eg. Causing damage of tissues or other body organs in the body instead of reviving the body. Then one should look into changing the particular insulin he or she uses.
For there are different types of insulin such as:
TYPES OF INSULIN
There are types of insulin which is been administered to diabetic patients according to their body need. For this reason one should not administer insulin without consulting a specialist doctor who finds out the right type of insulin that should be administered. We have Rapid-acting insulin, intermediate and Long acting insulin. In brand names we have such as Humulin R, Humulin N, etc. And we can see more information below on types :
  • Humulin R (REGULAR human insulin injection [rDNA origin]) is a short-acting insulin that has a relatively short duration of activity as compared with other insulins.
  • Humulin R Regular U-500 (Concentrated) insulin human injection, USP (rDNA Origin) is a stronger concentration (500 units/mL) of Humulin R.
  • Humulin N (human injection [rDNA origin]) is an intermediate-acting insulin with a slower onset of action and a longer duration of activity than Humulin R.
  • Humulin 70/30 (70% human insulin isophane suspension, 30% human insulin injection [rDNA origin]) is a mixture insulin. It is an intermediate-acting insulin combined with the onset of action of Humulin
  • Humulin 50/50 (50% human insulin isophane suspension, 50% human insulin injection [rDNA origin]) is a mixture insulin. It is an intermediate-acting insulin combined with the onset of action of Humulin R.
Humulin is identical in chemical structure to human insulin
NOTE : I WILL ADVISE ONE TO NOTIFY HIS OR HER DOCTOR FIRST BEFORE CHANGING THE TYPE HE OR SHE USES.
